LED Therapy

Why it works

The Celluma is FDA approved to treat pain and inflammation, acne, as well as wrinkles. It has been researched and used by NASA to help astronauts treat aches and pains while in space. The Celluma uses UV-free low level light therapy to directly affect tissue at the cellular level in a safe, easy, and noninvasive approach. There are 345 light emitting diodes, and there are three types of wavelengths used: Blue, Red, and Infrared light.

The Blue light targets the epidermis and kills the bacteria that causes acne.

The Red light goes beyond the epidermis in to the dermal layer, targeting collagen and elastin, and producing a variety of anti-aging benefits.

The Near-Infrared light penetrates the deepest, and works at the cellular level to boost adenosine triphosphate (ATP). As a result, there is an increase in micro-circulation, tissue repair, and a decrease in inflammation and pain.
